Place your artwork

We will help you fit it before anything is printed. You see the cost here, so nothing unexpected turns up later.

Flyers are usually landscape. A5, A4 and DL all flip.

JPG or PNG. Drag the picture. Size keeps the shape. Width and Height stretch it. Keep words inside the dashed line. A PDF cannot be placed here.

Let’s fit your pictureThe pink edge is cut off. Your picture needs to cover it. We will show you straight away if it is ready, and what it will cost.
Pink: cut off Black: finished edge Dashed: keep words inside

The pink edge is the bleed

The printer cuts along the black line. The knife can wander by a millimetre or two, so the picture has to continue past that line. The extra 3mm is the bleed. It is printed, then thrown away. You will not see that pink on the finished flyer.

The little picture above is enlarged. On the sheet the pink band is only 3mm.

  1. Cover all of the pink. If any pink still shows, the knife can leave a white line on the flyer. When the pink has disappeared, the bleed is covered and there is no artwork charge.
  2. The black line is the cut. That is the edge of the finished flyer. Everything outside it is trimmed off.
  3. Keep words inside the dashed line. Phone numbers, logos and names stay clear of the knife.

If you would rather we finish the placement, that is £5, shown before you send it. We check every file, and you approve the proof before we print.
